A community of surfers, families, beginners and lifelong wave riders based in Strandhill.
For over 50 years we have been bringing people together through surfing, friendship, competition and a shared love of the Atlantic coast.
County Sligo Surf Club is a volunteer-led community of more than 200 active members based at the National Surf Centre in Strandhill.
From complete beginners discovering their first wave to experienced surfers competing nationally, the club exists to help people connect through surfing and the coastline we call home.
We have been surfing this stretch of Atlantic shoreline for over fifty years and continue to welcome new members of all ages and abilities.

The National Surf Centre in Strandhill provides a year-round home for the club and serves as a hub for Ireland’s surfing community.
Members have access to club facilities, events, meetings and activities hosted throughout the year.
