Come Join the County Sligo Surf Club!

We are a diverse, fully inclusive club, and always welcome new members to join our surf club!

Membership is paid annually per calendar year. Membership runs from January to December. For the year 2025 the membership fees are as below. €10 from all fees goes to the Irish Surfing Association.  

  • €40 Junior Membership (Under 18 years of age)

  • €70 Senior Membership (Over 18 years of age)

  • Family Memberships – We are pleased to announce that we are now set up to offer family membership for 1 or 2 adults with 2, 3 or 4 children with significant discounts applied.

    -> €10 of all memberships goes to membership of the Irish Surfing Association (ISA).

    -> All memberships include full access to change rooms and showers in the new National Surf Centre, Strandhill.

    Please note that junior members aged 16 and under will also need to have a parent/guardian registered as a club member, accompanying their child, in order to use the Surf Centre facilities. 

Your Membership includes:

  • Access to change rooms and showers in the new National Surf Centre, Strandhill
  • Full membership of the ISA
  • Liability insurance under ISA
  • Access to take part in all local, national  and club events and competitions
  • Top class surf coaching programs
  • Coached and supervised parent and child(ren) free to members HOP Sunday afternoon sessions (May-Oct)
  • Club, community & environmental events
  • Club competitions, trips and social events

Surf and Centre Programs

In 2025, we will be offering the following programs & events:

  • Family-focused “Hour of Power (HOP)” weekend coached sessions, free to members:
  • Social Events, Movie Nights, Educational seminars and fun Club Competitions**
  • Charity Fundraisers** for local good causes
  • Community Development** & Environmental Stewardship** events
    eg. Beach Clean-ups, Marram Grass Planting.
  • Community Engagement** Days
    eg. St. Patrick’s Day Parade, World Drowning Prevention Day, International Surfing Day, Halloween Fancy Dress Surf & Treats, Christmas and New Year Surfs.
